Sorry, I wasn’t sure how else to start off a blog.

For the past year-and-a-half or so I have been working as the student assistant to the Communications Manager (if that’s wrong, I’m sorry Dave) in University of Delaware’s Research Office. It came on as a regular job, but this winter, I’m using it as an internship to graduate on time and more importantly, challenge myself.

Just as some background: I am a designer who grew up surrounded by technology, and loved to figure out how it works. Over the past few years, this has led me to specialize in interaction design (there’s a bit more on my site if anyone is interested.)

Over the next few weeks, I’ll break down what I do on a day to day basis at the Research Office while reflecting on or just exploring what I learn along the way.
